We had 221 people come out on a rainy Halloween night to see the 1958 cult classic The Blob with Steve McQueen. It was great to see so many kids in attendance. Model maker Paul Pandocchi, creator of the Library’s “Cinema Terrors” exhibit, was in the lobby with his monster collectibles. Before our show began we played various sci-fi movie trailers. Then at 7:30 we opened with “Betty Boop’s Halloween Party.”

Onstage we had a prize giveaway that included, among other things, two free passes to the Pickwick Theatre, a 35th anniversary copy of Halloween (1978) on blu-ray, and a model kit of The Creature From the Black Lagoon that was generously donated by Bill Harrison of Animated Hobbies.

Giving stuff away!
