Record Turnout For Season 5 Opener!

If there’s a Hitchcock movie on the marquee, it must mean the Pickwick Theatre Classic Film Series is back!

Over 700 patrons attended our screening of Rear Window on September 14, 2017. This was the largest crowd we ever had for a season opener. We are grateful to everyone who came out to support us. We’d like to thank all our fans as well as our media stalwarts: Nick Digilio of WGN Radio and Bruce Ingram of Pioneer Press. Beyond the media coverage, we have an exceptional group of volunteers on the ground who spread the word within the community. To them, as well as to all those who attend, we are grateful.

Thank you to organist Jay Warren, Movie Hostess Monica, Ticket Taker Shannon, our projectionist Jerry, the theatre staff, and the Vlahakis family for making this series possible.

There will be nine more films to come this season, so we hope to see you at the Pickwick Theatre in the months ahead!
