Thank you to the 368 patrons who rocked around the clock with us during our screening of American Graffiti on June 5, 2019. It was a wonderful way to close out a remarkable season at the Pickwick Theatre. We played 11 movies and we had at least 300 patrons for every screening. This is the first time we’ve accomplished that! The total attendance was 5,240 patrons. We averaged 476 moviegoers a show. The largest turnout was for The Quiet Man (1,015).
During the course of our sixth season, we have had three movie screens: the early “curved” Megascreen (for Bride of Frankenstein), the temporary one (for Beetlejuice), and the final version we currently enjoy. Additionally, there have been three hostesses: Allison (the Original) on our Opening Night, Allison (the Younger), and Rebeka on our Closing Night. There were two organists: Matt Haider (first two shows) and Jay Warren. And finally, now we have one stage we’ll roll out for special occasions!
We will be back with another mega-lineup for our “Megatheatre.”
Have a great summer! “See You in September.”
“Goodnight, Well it’s Time to Go.”
~Matthew
