On April 13, 2022, we had over 260 patrons come out on a gray and stormy day to experience The African Queen (1951). Those who were fortunate enough to attend saw one of the sharpest 4K restorations we have ever presented. Bogie never looked better at the Pickwick Theatre!
In addition to presenting the film, we showed off our new “Pickwick Theatre Classic Film Series” t-shirts. (We have two designs, but a third is in the works.) Thank you to local artist John Schmidt for making these samples available to us. We hope to start taking orders when our ninth season kicks off in September.

We’d like to officially welcome Diana to our team. The African Queen was her second show helping us out. Besides being a film student, Diana is a talented visual artist and filmmaker.
