Join us on January 11, 2023, when we proudly present The Shawshank Redemption (1994) at the Pickwick Theatre. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman star as two imprisoned men who bond over a number of years. During which time, they find solace and eventual redemption through acts of common decency. The Shawshank Redemption is hugely popular and is currently listed as the #1 top-rated film on IMDb.
The Shawshank Redemption was planned months in advance but may prove to be our final show of the season/series. (The theatre is officially closing the following night.) We are trying to extend our program and should have an announcement for everyone– good or bad– on the day of the show.
In addition to our announcement about the future of the classic film series, The Shawshank Redemption will be given a special introduction by our two hostesses, Beka and Diana. (They are big fans of this movie!)
