Discover your inner elf this December when we present one of the more popular modern Christmas classics– Elf (2003)– directed by Jon Favreau and starring Will Ferrell, James Caan, Zooey Deschanel, Bob Newhart and Ed Asner. Ferrell plays Buddy, a human raised by elves in the North Pole who goes in search of his real father in New York City and winds up coming to the aid of Santa Claus.
Elf will be a first-time viewing for your program host, so this is where our commentary ends. But we promise to make this a fun Christmas event for the entire family. And the movie features the late Bob Newhart as Will Ferrell’s adoptive dad. All the more reason to come out!
